34 Weeks

Well,
I completed 34 weeks of pregnancy on Tuesday. I have to say I am starting to get really excited. I try not to let myself get excited too soon because then the weeks seems to drag on and on. Plus, I try to enjoy every minute I have with just my three girls. I am just anxious to meet this little man who kicks me all day long. I try to enjoy all the ups and downs of being pregnant while I still am. It is getting hard for me to sleep now, all in preparation for those all night feedings. The baby's room is almost done, we just have to paint and put up the chair rail, everything else is in place. The girls are excited also, especially Ellie who can't wait to be able to sit in my lap again. Joslyn is becoming more and more grown up everyday and we are not used to having such a big girl before we have a baby. She seems so old, 18 months, and we don't have a new baby yet, it is a little strange for us, but we love it. Yesterday we went to a pizza party at the Spanish Fork pool. It was my first time back in a public pool since the whole parasite, diarrhea epidemic last summer. It was Joslyn's first time in a real pool, and she loved it. She splashed around and wanted to stay in the water forever. We had to leave a little early because it was actually a pretty cool night. I forgot my camera, so you will have to picture in your heads how cute all the girls looked having fun in the pool. Well, I will post again soon with some pictures of the girls.

A little fun at the fair

Last Saturday we decided to go to the Utah county fair. It was in Spanish Fork, really close to our house, and it was free, so we thought it would be fun. It turned out to be okay, just really small and not much to do. The girls had fun on the carnival rides while Joslyn and I tried to find some shade. There weren't a lot of animals, which is usually the girls favorite part, so we only stayed about an hour. It was pretty hot and by the time we got home we were pretty exhausted, well at least I was. I think next year we might pass on the fair, at least we took a few cute pictures of the girls.

Happy Birthday

Well its that time of year again, birthday time! If you didn't know, almost all of my family celebrates birthdays in August. And then I went and married someone who has a birthday August 18Th. My sister's little girl was born on my birthday, so we keep adding to the party. This year we even celebrated Taylor's birthday so there were a lot of presents and excitement. Everyone had a great time. The kids got lots of cool stuff and Justin and I got just what we wanted, gift cards. Justin and I had our semiannual birthday getaway on Thursday, which was so nice. We went to Park City and stayed overnight on Main street. We left the girls with my parents, THANK YOU!! We had a nice dinner and walked around main street. We got back to our hotel around 9:00 and then fell asleep!! Then we woke up so we could watch the Olympics. We didn't want to miss all the gymnastics. The next day we did lots of fun stuff. We got to go shopping and we even were able to go to the temple. It was so nice and relaxing. We love our kids, but it sure is nice to have a little alone time once in a while. Thank you mom, dad, and Cortney. This weekend has been fun too. We took the kids to the county fair today and then had some friends over for pizza. I am looking forward to tomorrow and resting a little. Speaking of resting, I went to the doctor on Thursday and was instructed to take it easy. No more going to the gym or other exercising. I have been having a lot of contractions lately and we just want to make sure baby Noah doesn't come yet. Everything else was fine, BP, weight, etc.. I feel really blessed everything is going so well. Enjoy the pics!!

Joslyn is growing up!

Well Joslyn is 18 months and I can't believe it! Partly because I usually have another baby by now, but it feels like she just came to our family. She is such a joy and so cuddly and loving! She loves to give kisses and cuddle with just about anyone. She has started going to the nursery and she is doing pretty well. We can't check on her because if she sees us she will start to cry, so I send spies to make sure she is doing okay. This is so nice for us now that I am teaching our primary class by myself. Justin was called into the Elder's quorum presidency. Anyway, Joslyn also is starting to talk more and more. She has inherited her older sister Taylor's obsession with shoes. She says "Shoes, Shoes" until we put a pair on her. Right now her favorite pair are the squeaky shoes my mom bought. She also likes to help clean up her food after she eats. She picks up every piece of food on her highchair and hands it to me as I clean her up. She lets me know she is done by saying something that resembles "all done." It is really cute. I feel so blessed to have all of my children. They all are so different and bring such joy to us! Here are some recent pictures of Joslyn.

Making a mess as usual.

We caught her picking her nose in the car.

What a cutie.

Here is one of Joslyn's newborn pics, so you can see how big she really is!

Dino Pictures

Last Tuesday Ruth and I were brave and took our kids to the Dinosaur museum in Lehi. They were having a special that day so instead of paying $10 for a ticket, we payed $2. We weren't the only ones who decided to go, when we came out of the museum, there was a line around the building. We were really glad we came early. After having fun looking at all the exhibits, we headed over to the deli and had some yummy lunch. It was really fun and Ruth and I had a good time talking. It is nice to get out and do fun things like that once and while. I am lucky to have friends like Ruth who don't mind coming with me!

Stop and smell the flowers

I have been trying my best to keep the girls busy this summer. We have been going to the park a lot and the girls have loved it. There is a really nice park by the library that has a lot of shade. So, we get up and go early around 8:30 or 9:00 before it gets too hot or crowded. It works out well. There is also a rose garden there that the girls wanted to check out. We have also been going to the library once or twice a week. The girls love to read and be read to. We have to go get new books often because I get tired of reading the same book over and over several times a day. Today, we went to the Dinosaur museum in Lehi with some friends. It was a lot of fun. I will post pics of that soon. So, I am trying really hard to fight my exhaustion and do fun stuff with the girls. I feel really lucky to live in a place where there are so many fun things to do. And when we don't go anywhere the girls love to play in our basement, which has become a gigantic play room. Enjoy the pics!
