"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." Thomas S. Monson

Princess club
Taylor has been part of 4h this semester. No she didn't learn to sew or cook or raise an animal, she learned how to be a princess! That's right she was in the princess club, where she learned how to be polite. She had a lot of fun. One day the local beauty school came and gave all of the girls makeovers. Taylor looks so beautiful!

All dressed up
These pics were taken a few weeks ago, right before church. I don't know why we had time to take them since our church starts at 9am! We are usually scrambling to get out of the door. After the new year we will have church at 1pm, and I am so so so excited! I might actually get to sleep after I work all night. Anyway, the kids looked cute, as they always do, so Justin decided to snap some pictures.

50's girl
Taylor picked this Halloween costume out because she liked the way it looked. Then she asked, "What is it mom?" "Its a 50's girl." I answered. "What's a 50's girl?" Oh yeah, why would Taylor know what a 50's girl was? I then explained it to her and after watching some selected scenes from "Grease" she was pretty excited. She looked so cute with her glasses and scarf and matching tights! And she was the only 50's girl in her class!

Cruising
There was a lot of driving on this trip and I got a little bored. I decided to take pictures of all of the excitment inside the car. Well, thankfully it wasn't very exciting. It is always a challenge traveling with five little kids. Sometimes I look back at all the kids in carseats and think, "Are these really all of our kids??" Yes they are and we love it! All I have to say is thank goodness for built in DVD players!!

Swimming
One of the reasons we wanted to go to Las Vegas was the weather! It was still in the 90's when we went, and we took advantage of that. Our condo had a nice family pool and a splash pad for the kids. We invited the Parsons over to swim with us and the kids had a blast. Noah was fearless and jumped all over the place. He didn't care that he couldn't swim! Justin had to hold tight to him. I stayed out with the baby and took a ton of pictures, my kids are just so cute.
More Disneyland
So we only had one day in the park, so obviously we couldn't do everything, so we focused on things we thought the kids would like. We rode all the rides in fantasy land and we also spent a lot of time waiting in line to meet some characters. It rained for a little while, so we stopped and ate lunch.

Sleeping hard
I love checking on the kids before I go to bed, I never know what I am going to find. On this night, Ellie looked like she had a pretty rough day. It makes me wonder why the kids fight bedtime so much, I know they are tired! Last night when I checked on Ellie she had taken off her pajamas and threw all her covers on the floor. I guess she was too warm, even though it is winter.
