I got some new undies

No, not me silly. Noah! He decided that he wanted to potty train. I wasn't even going to attempt it until he was 3, but he had different plans. And actually he is doing pretty well. Well, except for the playing with his poop thing. He goes pee in the potty all of the time and even went at church last week. And he loves, loves, loves his underwear. It is all disney, and he was super excited to get it.

Fun with the camera

These photos were taken by Ellie and Joslyn, both aspiring photographers!

Ariana and Christmas Stockings

So this post is about two seperate things, Taylor's friend Ari and the Christmas Stockings I bought this year. The first three pics are of Ari and Taylor. Ari lives across the street from us and comes over to play all of the time. The girls have a blast together. Their birthdays are just days apart! The other pics are of the Christmas stockings I bought this year with all the kids names on them. I thought they turned out so cute. And I didn't notice when I ordered them that Ellie was the only one that picked out a red one. Oh well, I still love them!

A real Christmas tree.

First of all, I have to mention that I look stunning in these pictures! I look so tired, probably because I was. Anyway, these pics were taken after we decorated our real tree in the front room. We have a beautiful artificial tree that we bought a couple of years ago, but I was missing the christmas tree smell. And the kids needed a tree to put their ornaments on. Since we have two living rooms we decided that each year we will have two trees. It was a lot of fun watching the kids put up the ornaments and remembering where they got them. They also loved seeing the ornaments that Justin made as a child. We also made sure that we listend to the Osmond family Christmas album while we decorated, this is a Larsen tradition!

Noah....

I am sure I have mentioned this before, but Noah is crazy. He is such a boy and I didn't really think boys could be that much different from girls, but I was wrong. Oh, Ellie just came to me and told me that Noah has gotten into the pantry and is now, as I type this, putting cheddar bunny snacks all over the house. Okay, back from cleaning that mess up! It wasn't so bad. These pictures are from what Noah does when he is supposed to be going to sleep. He takes apart his bed and sleeps in the closet, or under his bed or under the fitted sheet. We also had to take all the knobs off Taylor's cute dresser because he would open the drawers and climb up them to try to get stuff off the top of the dresser. His latest thing is taking off his dirty diapers and playing with the contents. Gross, I know. Again, something my girls never did. But he does have a lot of good qualities too. He is super sweet and cuddly. He is also doing awesome on his potty training! (Beside the above story). I do love having boys, and I just try not to think of the days ahead with two little crazy boys running around. And I have a new respect for all of you Mother's with boys!

Here are some more pics of my crazy girls. I am so happy to have all my girls so close together in age. They have so much fun together and play pretty well. There are fights, but its usually when Taylor has a friend over. They have pretty active imaginations. They still play scooby doo, rapunzel and barbie. We recently moved the play kitchen and a bookshelf into the playhouse downstairs and they are really loving it.

Funny Santa pics

I know, its almost Februrary and I still haven't caught up to Christmas! Today I am going to try to catch up so I can get working on my 2010 blog book. It just seems like there is always so much to do! I have made a list of my daily chores, and I don't think its possible for me to get them all done. So, things like my blog get left behind. I really want to keep it going because I love the books I am able to make from it. So, forgive me for making you look at Christmas pictures. These were taken at the Ward Christmas party way back in the begingging of December. The kids were so excited to meet Santa, until they got up close, and then I think they were a little scared.

Silly Faces

We have to have lots of fun in our house. If I didn't laugh, I would cry at all the funny things that happen on an everyday basis. Like when Noah puts a whole roll of toliet paper down the toliet and then tries to clean it up with a toliet brush. Or when Joslyn decides to draw on the couches. When Noah puts the cat in the washing machine, and turns it on. I could go on and on. So instead of crying at all the crazy things that happen, we laugh. And we make silly faces!

Big Sister

I just wanted to write a little about my little helper, Taylor. She has really been such a big help to me and is such a great big sister. She loves to help out with the other kids and with some of the housework. Last weekend she got cereal for the kids and then emptied the whole dishwasher for Justin and I. We didn't even ask, she just did it. I am so lucky to have such great kids!
