So interesting...

So what are my kids so interested in? Their eyes are glued to the Television. I love how Noah is cuddled up with Taylor.

Wow this must be a really good show!

They can't get enough!

I bet you can't wait to see what it is!

Looks pretty amazing, huh?

Right now Joslyn is obsessed with the baby Einstein video "Baby Noah" she loves all the animals. She asks me to watch it all the time. So, the other day it was about 5:30pm (the hardest time of day for me) and I was trying to kill time until Justin got home, so I put on the video. All the kids were into it, and to my surprise Noah even seemed to love it! It kept them entertained for a half hour as I counted down the minutes to when Justin would be home. It was pretty cute!

Taylor again

Here are some more pics of Taylor later that day when she was much more relaxed. Her preschool graduation was last night and it was so fun. I will post some of those pics later!

Taylor

My mom has wanted Taylor's ear's pierced since she was born. I have nothing against getting Taylor's ears pierced. I have said from the start that as soon as she wanted them done and understood that it would hurt, that she could do it. I just think it is mean to pierce little girls ears before they know what is going on. Last Sunday Taylor came home from church and told me she was ready to pierce her ears. I explained everything to her and she said she wanted to do it. So while we were at the mall yesterday I told Taylor she could pick out something for her preschool graduation. She decided she wanted to get her ears done. She did so well and since I had told her a million times what was going to happen, she was so ready. She had even watched some one else get theirs done a few weeks ago, so she was prepared. She picked out her earrings, sat in the chair and didn't even cry!! She was so brave. It helps that they do them at the same time. I was so proud of her and happy that she had decided to do it on her own. She picked her birthstone, and she loves them! She reminds me all the time to clean them. Isn't she cute!

My little ballerinas

Here are a few pictures of my girls at their dance class. They love it and I love that they are learning something new. Ellie sometimes has a hard time paying attention, but she is getting better. They will have class all year and then a Christmas recital. I love watching them, they are so cute!

Friends

Last weekend we had some friends over, and I took some pics of our kids playing together. We have so many great families in our neighborhood. It is fun spending time with them.

Here are the kids playing with our "next door neighbors" I say that because there is actually a house in between us, but it is still empty. I wish they lived right next door! I felt bad for the boys, we only have girl toys at our house, here they are playing princesses. Justin took it and didn't know how to change it from black and white.

Isn't she so cute!

Noah and Ellie, they are just three weeks apart and I am sure they will be good friends!

This is another one of the kids playing in the princess room.

Cuties

Sorry for all of the posts lately, but you know I am just really bored all day long and have nothing else to do :) So, these are the latest pics of my kids, taken this morning. Matt came with me to help out and man, it is so hard to get these kids all smiling at once! So hard, that, we couldn't do it, but some of the pics are still super cute. I took some of Joslyn for her birthday, (I am a little behind), all in all they were pretty good.

Something like a backyard

Well our backyard is starting to look something like a backyard. Last week we had it leveled out. And we started putting our garden in. We also put a little swing set out there for the kids. We have a TON of plans for the rest of the yard, if only Justin had time to do all of them. One at a time, is what I keep telling myself. I keep threatening to just hire some one and get it all done while Justin is a work. He loves doing it himself, so I will just be patient. I think we might get some of the fence up next, then we have to put in a patio, expand our deck, put in sprinklers and sod and then we will be done. I know that is alot, but I am so excited about it! We haven't had a backyard in years. In our last house we got our yard done just a few weeks before we moved out. So, now you know why I am so anxious!

Here is the beautiful, gigantic tree we have on our lot. This is one of the reasons we chose to build here. We love it. It shades the yard practically all day! The only drawback is the bird poop, oh well! If you look closely you can see what will be the kids elementary school in the background. I do plan on spying on Taylor whenever I can.

Here is the other side of the yard, our little half way done garden and you can see a couple of our fruit trees.

The kids and the swing set! They love it.

Here you can see the whole thing, including the bird poop.

Loving my new camera

I am still learning how to use this new camera and I don't have any natural talent in photography, but what do you think? It helps that my kids are the cutest things in the world!!

New pics of Noah

These pics are from just a minute ago, This is Noah in deep thought. I wonder if he is thinking "Why am I playing Barbies?"

Just so Justin wouldn't get mad, I did put some manly blocks in front of him, but he wanted to play with the dolls!

I love this one, he loves to eat his toes, what a cutie!!

It has been a while since I posted just about my little man. He is sitting up so well now and he loves to sit and play! His two front bottom teeth are in, so he has been much happier lately. These are just a few pics I took of him in the last few days. The reason that they aren't very good, is that I just got a new camera and I don't know how to use it yet. I am learning, but it is complicated. You know me, not the best at that kind of thing. I had a great Mother's day. I worked on Sat night, so after a yummy breakfast in bed, I had a little nap and then went to church. Then we headed to my moms to celebrate. Brett made a yummy dinner and I took another little nap while the kids played. I got to talk to my sister Rebekah, who is on a mission, and I ate ice cream, it was a super day! Thanks to everyone, especially Justin who made an effort to clean the house for me, usually when I wake up after working it looks like a war zone, but yesterday it was clean! Thanks!

Well yesterday was a fun day. We went with my mom and Chloe to the zoo. The weather was really nice and we weren't the only ones who thought so. It was pretty crowded at first, but not so much by the afternoon. My mom is nice enough to buy a grandparents pass so we can all get in for free. Well free to us, not my mom, so thanks again! We had a lot of fun. Joslyn is old enough to enjoy the animals now, so all four of the girls were into it. Joslyn was also so excited to ride the merry-go-round, until she was actually on it. She ended up screaming the entire time! Oh well, I think she was just really tired. We also rode the train. The girls didn't want to leave, they were having such a good time. When my mom told Ellie we were going to the parking lot, she got really excited. I think the word park in parking lot threw her off. Even after we got to the car she kept asking when we were going to get to the parking lot. I think it broke her heart when she finally realized that we were already there and there was nothing fun about it. Thanks mom for putting up with us! After the zoo I had to go to a little training at the hospital so Justin took the kids home for me. It was nice to have a little break and to learn some new skills. When I got home Justin looked exhausted, I love it when he takes care of the kids, I think it helps him appreciate me more. This morning I ran a little over 4 miles. I didn't even feel like throwing up after, so I think I am getting a little stronger. The women I run with are so nice to put up with me, I think sometimes they wish I didn't come so they could run faster, but oh well. Then today I took the kids to the mall to finish up my mother's day shopping. They were pretty good, but we didn't stay long. Mom, wait until you get your present, you are going to love it! So now I am recovering from all the activity by blogging, even though I have about 5 loads of laundry to do and bathrooms to clean! Oh I almost forgot, we are finally starting our backyard! This morning we had some one clear out the jungle of weed and pasture grass and level out the whole thing. It looks awesome!! I can't wait to have it done and send my kids out to play!! Well that's about it for now, enjoy the pics!

Popcorn party

Every time I let my kids in our bedroom I regret it, but I keep doing it! This time was no exception. I decided to be a nice mom and let the girls eat popcorn and watch a movie in our bedroom. I thought they would be okay, just a moderate mess to clean up, whats new, right? But, I didn't expect them to pour the entire bowl on to my bed and then jump on it. I guess I should have expected the worse. For now we are back to only eating in the kitchen. Until I forget again and then they make a big mess, Oh well!

Just one more post

Sorry to post so much today, but while I was posting about the tulips, I heard the girls laughing out of control. They came in my room to show me what was going on. And this is what I saw:

They thought it was so funny! Taylor laughed so hard she snorted, just like her mama! These girls crack me up!

Tulips part two, read the previous post first!

I should explain why Taylor has her coat hood on in amost all the pictures. I told her it might rain and she didn't want to mess up her hair. But, the hood messed up her hair and it didn't rain, so I finally made her take it off. She is so funny. Here are some more pics.

Ellie in front of the waterfalls, apparently they are the biggest manmade waterfalls in the world. They are pretty spectacular.

Taylor and Joslyn

Joslyn wanted to touch all of the flowers, but otherwise she did really well.

I know you all love this one, Ellie is looking at me like, "really mom?"
