Somebody loves the camera

My little Ellie loves to have her picture taken. She loves to pose for the camera and then laugh at herself. These pictures were taken at Taylor's dance recital a few weeks ago. I think I now know where Ellie gets this from, could it be her aunt Cortney???

Must be Santa

These pictures are from our ward Christmas party last weekend. The kids were so excited to see Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Well, Noah really didn't know what to think, but at least he didn't cry!! The party was so much fun and I feel so blessed to be able to Celebrate Christmas with our friends and neighbors.

Our little dancers

Here are the pictures of the girl's dance recital that was last weekend. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work. Taylor did a really great job on her routines, and Joslyn did great on her little march. Ellie decided a couple of months ago that she didn't want to dance any more, so she chose not to be in the recital. She likes watching more. All the girls did a great job and they looked great too! I love my girlies!

Noah's baby

When you have three girls you have lots of dolls lying around. Noah has become attached to this particular one. He carries it around and asks for it at naptime. I think it is cute, Justin doesn't really agree. Noah also likes to carry purses and put on necklaces. Don't worry Noah has plenty of boy toys, and he is getting lots more for Christmas!

Today's adventure

Lately I have become very overwhelmed with all the house work that I have to do on a daily basis. Noah has brought the workload up to a new level. Mondays are always the worst because i don't do chores on Sunday, and you wouldn't believe what happens when I don't clean for a day. Anyway, today I decided to really dive into my work for a little bit. I left the kids playing together in the bedroom, actually being really good. I was about halfway done cleaning the kitchen when I noticed it was pretty quiet. I ran to check on the kids and I found them well Joslyn and Noah, playing in my make up smearing mascara all over the place. I was so excited especially since I had just cleaned the bathroom during nap time about an hour ago. Oh well, I think I officially give up on keeping the house clean, I will try again in 10 years.

Family Pictures

Here are some of our latest family pictures. They were taken two weekends ago, on a very cold day! They turned out pretty cute and I am really excited to get my prints. My kids are so adorable, don't you think??? I am so smart to have married such a handsome guy, because all my kids look just like him!

Kiddos

Well I try never to complain about my kids, because I love them so much and I feel so lucky to have them all. They are all healthy and beautiful, and loving. But.... it seems like lately they have been testing my level of sanity, just to see how far I can go. Yesterday I was watching a couple of other kids for my friend and Joslyn decided to get into my hair mouse and do her own hair! It was all over everything! It isn't entirely her fault, because Noah is the one who got it out of the bathroom cupboard. He has this fascination with opening every drawer and cupboard, taking everything out, and dumping it throughout the house. This is his favorite activity, he get things out from everywhere. I am constantly picking up after him. It must be a boy thing, because my girls never did this. He also likes to play in the toilet and crush Christmas tree ornaments with his bare hands. Today he put a blanket over his head, started growling, and ran until he bumped into a wall. He then laughed, and did it again! Boys are so crazy! Our nickname for Noah is "the destroyer." Taylor even calls him that. The girls have learned to play on their beds, so that Noah doesn't come in their rooms and mess up everything. Good thing he is so dang cute! Anyway, I do love my kids, even though my house is a mess and I never have a spare minute. I feel blessed!

Noah's first haircut

I finally broke down and let Justin give Noah his first haircut. It was a pretty funny experience and I think I will be cutting Noah's hair myself from now on. He was pretty good and didn't move much, but it still turned out a little crazy. He does look pretty cute, as always. We had a great thanksgiving and had fun spending time with family. The kids and I went to my parents on Wed, and Justin stayed home and worked on the basement. He framed an entire room and hallway! We are finishing the playroom and bathroom down there, which will probably be occupied by my brother for a while. He needs to move in soon so we (and by we I mean Justin) are working to get it done fast. Justin joined us on Thursday and we ate a lot! Noah had a tough day and we found out he had double ear infections! He is now feeling a whole lot better. Justin also went to a Jazz game with my family while I watched the kids with my sister. Friday morning, against my better judgement, I got up at 3:30 am to go shopping!! My mom, grandma, and two sisters went too. It was a lot of fun! We had a great time shopping and standing in line. We all got some pretty good deals. The best part was just spending time together. Seven hours later we got home and found everything well. My dad and brother helped Justin watch the kids when I was gone, and while I took a nap. I had a great time!! We finished off the weekend with my whole family going to the BYU/Utah game. My grandma came over to keep me company, which was a lot of fun. Justin also spoke in church on Sunday and did a great job. It was a great weekend, I am just a little tired and trying to recover today! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I am so blessed and have so much to be grateful for!

The kids

We took these pictures last weekend, when I looked at them, I couldn't believe how big they looked. Is time flying by or what? They are growing up so fast, it makes me a little sad. But, as they grow, they discover and learn new things, it is so fun to watch and be a part of. I love my kids, and love being a mom!

The hat

We went to a birthday party last weekend. One of the party favors Noah received was a dog hat. The kids thought it was so funny to try it on. So this hat entertained the kids for an hour, they took turns trying it on. It was pretty funny, you never know what will keep the kids happy!

My little buckaroo

On Thursday, my sister and I decided to dress Noah up like a little cowboy. My parents got Noah some really cute John Deer boots for his birthday and they finally fit him. I also bought him a cowboy like shirt to match. He had a hard time getting used to the boots, but I think he liked them. Here are a few pictures. Cortney and I couldn't stop laughing, he was so funny! As you can see in the 2nd picture he kept squatting and making us laugh!

Room Mother

Since I finally have a child in school, I get to be room mother for the first time. My first assignment was helping with the Halloween party. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. I love seeing Taylor in school, she loves her teacher, and she is learning a lot. I also get to help in the classroom once a week. Another mom and I trade babysitting so we both can help out. I really enjoy it. Enjoy the pictures!

One small step for Noah....

I had to post these pictures of Noah. My dad bought him this super cute, authentic, halloween costume. He looked so adorable! It had a really cute hat also, but he wouldn't leave it on.

Halloween pics that are really late

So, I think I promised my parents that these would be up about a week ago, sorry. We have been having Internet/computer problems and I haven't been able to update very much. But here they are, the kids had so much fun this year, especially Ellie. She told Justin that Halloween was her favorite day ever. She just couldn't believe that you could just go up to people's doors and they would give you candy. She also told me that she wishes it could be Halloween again, so she could get more candy. It doesn't surprise me, Ellie loves candy. The dentist agreed that she has a problem when he told me about all of her cavities. The other kids had fun too. I guess I should tell you what the kids dressed up as. Taylor is of course Gabriella from High School Musical. Ellie is Dorothy, Joslyn is Belle and Noah is our little astronaut. So Cute!

Cookies with nuncle Matt

"nunckle" Matt, like the girls call him brought over some fun Halloween cookies to decorate. He brought frosting, and sprinkles and everything we needed to make some yummy cookies. We love him and are grateful for all he does for us.
