The garden this year got started a little late because we were working on our yard. But, we finally got it ready and planted some plants, and seeds. Last Monday for family night we decided to let the girls plant some seeds. It was really fun. They had a little trouble not stepping on the plants that were already planted, but they did a good job. The kids really enjoy the garden. Ellie especially loves to eat fresh stuff we grow. Last year she ate peas and carrots without even washing them off. A little gross, I know. This year Justin is super excited to have an automatic drip system that he put in. Now he doesn't even have to worry about watering. And I don't have to lose him to outside chores.
This first picture is of our cat, he decided to fertilize our garden right before we planted the seeds. Remind me again why we have cats. It was pretty funny, at least the girls thought so. Noah was already in bed, if you were wondering. He had a long day that day and wore himself out playing outside.
