Taylor

My mom has wanted Taylor's ear's pierced since she was born. I have nothing against getting Taylor's ears pierced. I have said from the start that as soon as she wanted them done and understood that it would hurt, that she could do it. I just think it is mean to pierce little girls ears before they know what is going on. Last Sunday Taylor came home from church and told me she was ready to pierce her ears. I explained everything to her and she said she wanted to do it. So while we were at the mall yesterday I told Taylor she could pick out something for her preschool graduation. She decided she wanted to get her ears done. She did so well and since I had told her a million times what was going to happen, she was so ready. She had even watched some one else get theirs done a few weeks ago, so she was prepared. She picked out her earrings, sat in the chair and didn't even cry!! She was so brave. It helps that they do them at the same time. I was so proud of her and happy that she had decided to do it on her own. She picked her birthstone, and she loves them! She reminds me all the time to clean them. Isn't she cute!
