I just wanted to write a quick post about our poor cats. They have been really great, the hardest thing is keeping the kids from killing them. Joslyn is especially dangerous. Last night for example, Justin and I went to bed and didn't think much about the fact that the cats weren't around. They often hide from the kids and fall asleep. But, we didn't hear them all night long, and usually they come in our room to sleep. Around five I was really nervous about it and we decided to look for them. We searched all over and couldn't find them. I had already looked in Joslyn's room and felt like I should check again. I noticed that her closet door was all the way shut, I opened it, and out came a scared little kitty. But, only one, so I continued looking. I had already searched in Josyln's play kitchen, except for the tiny freezer space, the cat couldn't be in there. To my horror I found the poor thing, the little girl kitten was scrunched up into that tiny space all night long. I felt so bad! They were fine, but I can't believe the girls had done this. Needless to say, the girls got a long lecture in the morning, but Joslyn didn't seem to really get it. So, Justin and I will make sure the kittens are safe before we go to bed!!
