We had a neat experience this Saturday. Justin, the kids and I were able to go through a temple open house in South Jordan. The temple is such a wonderful sacred place and I feel so blessed that my kids were able to go inside and see it. We also went with some friends of ours who aren't members of the church. It was neat to hear their questions and share some of the gospel with them. The kids did okay, it wasn't a long wait, but it was a lot of walking, especially up and down stairs. And of course Joslyn had to do it herself. The only part we didn't make it through was the sealing room. It was so beautiful and there was a couple explaining a little about sealings, but Joslyn decided she didn't want to hear it, so we left. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and I feel blessed that we got to do it. It was so fun to explain to Taylor a little bit about what the temple is about. Ellie just wanted to see someone get married there, I told her we would have to see that another day. She asked, "Is Taylor getting married today, She could marry Noah. Are you getting married today mom?" We tried to get some pictures outside, but it was 9:30pm when we got out and the kids weren't really feeling like pictures, these are the best we got!
