"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." Baby update
Well, as my due date approaches, everyone is probably wondering when I am going to have this little baby. Well, he gave us a little scare on Monday by not moving around like his usual self. I had a non-stress test and ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. Things weren't exactly like they like them to be, so I had another one this morning that looked a lot better. He just wanted to give us some stress! Anyway I saw my regular OB this afternoon and we decided to strip my membranes today and if the little guy hasn't shown up by Thursday, I will be induced. My blood pressure was up and my fluid levels aren't great,so there is no use keeping him in there any longer. So, we will see. I am a little bit nervous about the induction, I haven't had one before. This pregnancy has been a little different since I am seeing a doctor and not a midwife, but I know it has been the best thing, especially since all of these issues have come up. Anyway, I feel less stress today and I am grateful for all of my great friends who have really helped me out with the kids and emotional support. I am so lucky to have so many great people willing to help me. My family is also ready to take over once the baby arrives, I am so grateful. THANK YOU!! I will keep you updated!

I love Pooh Bear
These are some cute pictures of how we found Joslyn the other night. Hanging on very tightly to her pooh bear. These days she is never found without it. She even has a baby pooh that she covers with a washcloth and puts to sleep every night. It is really cute. I love the Winnie the Pooh stage, all my girls went through it. Joslyn also loves Mickey Mouse right now. This morning the new package of Huggies with Mickey on it was a big hit. Anything to make diaper changes easier! Nothing much else is new here. Tomorrow I go to the doctor again and maybe there will be a change, but probably not. The good news is that last night I bought milk that expires a few days after my due date so I know that it will actually come! I am pretty tired last night from staying up until 2am. Did she work you ask? NO, I just went to Book club at a friends house and a few of us decided we didn't want to go home. It was good conversation and good food, can you blame us? Besides, after the kids are in bed, we are free women, right? I was supposed to go into work and do some stuff on the computer, but I just didn't make it. Maybe next time. I am so grateful to have such a good ward with lots of great women to share things with. You need a good talk once in a while! I'll post after the doc apt. tomorrow if there is anything exciting to report.

Happy Birthday Ellie

This is a picture of me in our last house a couple of days before Ellie was born!

Ellie Sheree makes her debut, September 22, 2005!
I can't believe that Ellie is three! She had a really fun birthday and we are so glad that everyone came to celebrate with us. My parents and Cortney came Sat. night to see us in the roadshow and then spent the night. Sunday was the Primary program and then after church we had a party for Ellie. It was really fun. First of all the roadshow went really well. Our ward really went all out and the people in charge did a great job. We got a couple of pictures, but I look way too pregnant in them to show anyone. Justin did a great job on his lines. The primary program was fun to watch also. Taylor and Ellie weren't into singing the songs much, Taylor kept turning around and facing the other kids instead of the congregation, but she said her line really well. She didn't even need help remembering it. It was fun to have our kids in the program. We came home and had some pot roast and then Ellie had a great party. She got a lot of neat presents and she loved all of them. I will include some pictures. She is finally learning how to smile with her eyes open! All in all it was a really fun weekend! I thought this week would be a little more relaxing, but there is a lot going on again. I have something everyday. I like it though, because then I don't sit around waiting for the baby to come. If I could pick, I would love him to be born next weekend, the first of October. So we will see. I really have no say in the matter so I will try to be patient! Enjoy the pictures of my cute little Ellie! We love you!

Noah's room
I am glad to finally get on the computer today. The girls are all playing, so I will sneak and post something. Usually when Joslyn finds out I am on the computer, she starts pounding on the keyboard and cries if I don't let her. We had a lazy morning today. Before Justin left for work he got Taylor some breakfast and then she played barbies in her room until the rest of us got out of bed at 9:00!! It felt so good to sleep in. I am supposed to work tonight, so I was happy to get a little extra sleep. This is hopefully my last shift before the baby comes, I am scheduled again on October 4Th, but I hope to have the baby before then. Speaking of the baby I posted some pics of his room so far. It is missing a few finishing touches, but I think Justin did a great job! We have a busy week ahead with the roadshow, primary program and Ellie's birthday party. I will keep you posted on how everything goes.

I am crazy
So I was feeling a little crazy tonight and let the girls have ice cream cones, after their bath, in my bed! I just thought of it as our family night activity! Joslyn is asleep and so I thought it would be fun to let the girls eat while they watched a movie. So, for all of you who think I am a super neat freak, I let loose tonight! Justin is putting the finishing touches on Noah's room as I write this. He is putting up the chair rail and then I can go in a put all the furniture in place. I will take some pictures and post them tomorrow. It looks really cute so far, Justin is so handy, I know I have said that a million times, but I am a million times grateful for him! I am starting to nest like crazy and want everything ready for the baby. I started to pack my hospital bag today and I have to say I got a little bit emotional. Bringing a new life in this world is a little scary, a lot exciting and a huge blessing and responsibility. I am especially grateful that this baby is a boy because it will be a new adventure. I am so grateful for every minute I have with my children. I love them more than anything. I know I was born to be a mother.

Funny Girl
I have been meaning to post these funny pics of Joslyn for a while. She has been so funny lately, and I am afraid her terrible twos have already begun. As I mentioned, she learned the word "NO" and uses all the time. She also is set on doing everything by herself even when she can't. She also threw her first temper tantrum this week, which was great. She is also getting 4 teeth right now, some of the most painful, so I hope that has a lot to do with it. These pictures are from last week when she insisted on wearing her hat and her winter boots. She loves to pick out shoes and put them on. Even though she has been having a hard time lately, she is still sweet and cuddly.
