The reason I am so tired

I sometimes wonder why I am so tired all of the time.  I usually can fall asleep at any moment of the day.  But then I look around at all of my great kids and its really no surprise.  The kids keep me busy!  My two littlest are pretty active and I wish I had more energy to keep up with them.  Here are some pictures of just a couple of things we do during the day.

Charlotte loves to eat, and loves to feed herself.  She is getting better at it, but I usually have to change her clothes a couple of times a day.  She needs a bath everyday at least once.  I am grateful she has a good appetite.

Andrew was so funny when he did this.  He wasn't scared or angry that he was stuck in here.  He seemed really content to just hang out there for a while.  He refused to let me help him , and eventually got himself out.

It just goes to show you that boys and girls play with toys differently.

More pictures

The girls and I at Fashion show mall on the strip.  This is my favorite Mall in Vegas!  Its easy to get to and has all my favorite stores.  On the weekends, they have fashion shows and the girls wanted to take their picture in front of one.  I just love how you can see all the men looking at the models!

Charlotte didn't like this moustache.

Taylor did an awesome job in school.  Even though she had a hard time adjusting to her new class she still managed to do great.

Just one of my little Noah.

Andy and I love to play at the community center while the older kids have their classes.  They have free arcade games!

This is Ellie at her award assembly.  I had to leave early so I didn't get a close up of her, but she also did great.

Joslyn all ready for gymnastics.

Charlotte is just too cute for words.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

My little man turned 3 at the end of May!  He is such a cutie pie! This little man keeps me on my toes.  He is very busy and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything.  This keeps life interesting.  I really never relax until I know he is asleep in his bed. The good news is that he is finally potty trained and doing really well.  His speech is also getting so much better.  I am so proud of everything he is learning.  He loves Angry Birds and can figure out my smart phone better than I can.  He is also a great brother and I love him so much!  Happy Birthday little man!

More spring pictures

Ellie and I had fun playing air hockey at the community center while the other kids had classes.  She got pretty good!

Ellie's Mother's Day/end of the year program.  She did a great job!

Justin had a great month a work, so we celebrated by going out to the Melting pot.  It was so yummy!

This is at the Library, the kids section had puzzles and stuff for the kids to do while the older ones read.

Taylor's dance recital, she did a fantastic job!

My dad and Andy and the park, I love it when my parents come to visit.

Spring in Vegas

Yes, I know it is no longer Spring, but I am still trying to play catch up on my blog!  It is now August and very hot and I look at these pictures from a few months ago and wish it was Spring again!  Its okay, Fall will be here before I know it and that is actually my favorite time of year.  These are just some different pictures of what we were up to a few months ago.  We started swimming in March, and haven't stopped.  That is one thing you do a lot of here.  And we have plans to put in a pool, but for this year we just have a little one.  The great thing is that everyone else has a pool and they are always willing to have us over.  Our church ward even has a weekly pool party.  There are so many splash pads to choose from at the park as well.  Taylor has been loving activity days with the girls from our church. She and Justin built a car to watch a drive in movie in a while back, I think it turned out so cute, don't you?  We also kept our community center quite busy for a while there. The other pictures are of Noah in his Karate class.  He loves it!  Taylor also took dance, Ellie had art class and Joslyn loved gymnastics.  We are taking a break for the summer, but start up again next month.  I am enjoying this laid back summer.  We did take a couple of fun trips and I hope to be caught up to those pictures soon!

Fashion show with Nina

Last year Ellie made a new friend named Nina, they were in the same class and had lots of fun together.  The hard thing about Las Vegas is that you usually don't know your kids friends parents.  Unlike Utah where you usually do.  So, this makes it a little more difficult to plan play dates.  It really helped me open up and meet people that I normally wouldn't have.  My girls are so friendly and I am so glad that they made so many new friends.  Nina and her Aunt Pam came over to visit and the kids decided to put on a fashion show!  Even the boys got into it, well they were probably forced into it.  At least they let Andrew dress up like Nemo and not a princess!
