It seems like forever since we took these pictures last fall. I think I have shared them before, sorry if you have already seen them. As you can imagine getting family pictures done is always a little stressful for us. Its extremely hard to get all of the kids to look perfect, even for the two seconds it takes to snap a picture. We have learned to relax about it more and more. This time actually wasn't too bad. The photographer did an awesome job and we actually got all of these shots done in half an hour! I know! My kids and hubby are so cute and I am so blessed to be part of this beautiful family. The only one that didn't cooperate was Charlotte. She didn't want to smile, but we got some pretty good ones of her anyway. Enjoy!
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." Halloween time 2012
| Family Photos at our church Halloween Party. |
We had our last Halloween in Utah and it was a fun one! The kids ended up carving pumpkins three different times. First at my mom's house, then at our house and again down in Vegas at Tam and Ken's. At this time we were going back and forth to Vegas trying to get a house. It was stressful, so the holiday helped us forget about it a little bit. I love Halloween and the fall season itself. I was kind of sad thinking that it was our last fall in Utah, I love the wet, cooler weather. One of our favorite things to do is pop popcorn and watch "Hocus Pocus." The kids and I love that show! Every year at the kids school they have a parade so the kids can show off their costumes. It is lots of fun to see all the creative things that ambitious moms come up with. I am not that creative, but my kids always have fun dressing up anyway. Taylor was Merida from the movie "Brave." Ellie was pinkie pie, a my little pony. Joslyn was Jasmine. Noah dressed as spider man, Andrew was woody from "toy story", and Charlotte wore a onesie that said. "baby's first Halloween." We also had fun at our ward Halloween party. The weather was even nice for Trick or treating!

Sweet baby
These pictures were taken when Charlottte was 3 months old. Her big brothers love to play with her and share their toys. I thought she looked so cute with this Woody doll. Charlotte is so lucky to have so many wonderful older siblings to help take care of her. Even Andrew is usually so soft and gentle with her. The only thing I have to worry about is when he wants to share his food with her. I have to keep a close eye on that. She is so little in these pictures, so sweet!
A day with Grandma Dee
I wonder if I really will ever catch up on this blog, life has been so crazy lately and I don't have time for much anymore. My hobbies include laundry, cleaning, spending time with my husband and sleeping. The rest of the time I am taking care of my sweet kiddos. Wow its a lot of work! I often think that I have a little more than I can handle. But, the Lord helps me through each day!! There just isn't time for those extra things like blogging! I wanted to post these pictures because I miss my Grandma Dee. I took for granted that she was so close and now I wish we were able to see her more often. We did have a nice Easter visit, but it just wasn't enough. My kids love spending time with her and they think her home is so much fun! Before we moved we went to visit and had a great time. Grandma Dee has the most fun things at her house. Lots of little things to explore. She always takes so much time preparing great lunches and snacks for us too. I wish we could visit her today!!

Charlotte's blessing
It is moments like this that make all the other not so wonderful moments worth it. I have been lucky enough to see 6 beautiful children blessed by my husband. This is a special moment for a family, especially for parents. Justin was able to give Charlotte a beautiful blessing, I am so grateful for him. I love it when all my family can get together. Obviously this happened a while ago, I am still trying to get caught up on my posts. I would just jump ahead, but I make books out of my blogs at the end of the year so they need to be in order. Charlotte has grown so much since these pictures were taken. It is going by too quickly!
