Lots of pictures of Ellie at Disneyland!

I haven't posted anything in so long, I forgot where I left off.  Things were so busy and crazy for the holidays that this kind of stuff gets pushed to the back of my priority list.  I do want to catch up with what is happening with our family so I will try and keep posting!  I feel like I am the only mom with a regular old blog anymore.  Oh well, I do it mostly for our family and to make a book at the end of the year.  Otherwise I wouldn't have much of a journal.  These pictures are of our little Ellie Sheree at Disneyland with my parents.  Have I told you that my parents are awesome, for many reasons, one being that when each grandchild turns 8 they take them to Disneyland by themselves!!  I always get so jealous!  Take me!  Ellie had been looking forward to it for so long, and she had a great time.  As you can see they let her eat ice cream for every meal, bought her a princess dress, and let her ride anything she wanted.  Who wouldn't have fun.  In fact I really wish I were there right now!

On my parents camera...

I mentioned that I had my parents camera for a few days.  When I went to transfer the pictures I had taken onto my computer, I looked through all the pictures that were saved on it.  I have to say that they made me laugh!  There were so many random ones!  I wanted to share some, mostly for my family, cause we love to laugh at ourselves.  I will try to explain them, but some of them I have no idea about.
This is a picture of a picture taken in 1995, I think?  It is of me and my sister and girl that my mom couldn't identify.  I didn't remember either,  it was from a trip to Idaho we took to visit my grandparents.  We got to take  a limo to the mall and thought we were pretty special.  That is also the summer I had mono and weighed 105 lbs.  That was the best diet ever!

A picture of the girls in their school uniforms, they are so cute!

My lovely mother doing a puzzle.

I don't even know who these people are.

I am guessing this is the puzzle my mom was working on.

My cute niece relaxing in front of the TV.

I want a nicer camera.

When my parents took Ellie to Disneyland, they left their camera at my house.  I have to say that I was pretty excited.  I want a new camera! I have stopped using my old one because my phone takes better pictures, how sad is that!  I have no idea what I am doing when I take pictures and I know it, but I also know that the pictures I take with my parents camera turn out better.  So while they were gone, I snapped away and had lots of fun.  Digital cameras are amazing!  I am so glad we can document our lives like we can!  I remember getting our first digital camera after Taylor was born, no more developing pictures!  Developing pictures, what is that??  Our kids will never know, and never have the patience we had.   Sometimes waiting days to see our photos!  Can you imagine.  Anyway, there are many things we need to buy before we get a new camera, but I will be excited when I get one.  Does anyone have a favorite? P.S.  My kids are cute!

Discovery Park

Here are some photos from a fun park that isn't too far from our house.  It is actually in North Las Vegas, but only about a 10 minute drive.  I wanted to check it out and I am sure glad that we did.   The kids loved it!  It was so nice and warm that day that it was pretty crowded, but the kids still had fun.  I thought I would be caught up with my blog by now, but here I am still two months behind.  I wish I had more time to get everything done!  I need more energy and the ability to never sleep, I guess.  Life is pretty busy, but we are having fun.  This park was one of the coolest I have been to here in Vegas.  We should have gone back again, but now it will be too cold for a while.  It is going to be in the 40's this week.  Brrrrr.  I know that Utah got slammed with lots of snow today, and while it is pretty, I never really liked it much.  Enjoy these pictures and I hope to get a few more posts done tonight.  I am still trying to recover from an awesome, but tiring  Thanksgiving break.
