Our cute kids

We had a really fun Halloween. The girls had a great time collecting candy from all of the neighbors. We had a ton of kids on our street this year. Taylor and Ellie wanted to dress up as princesses of course and Joslyn took her turn as Winnie the Pooh. Noah's costume (shirt) was picked by Taylor. Since the weather was so nice and I had been in the house all day, I decided to go with Justin down our street and back. Then I came home to feed the baby and Justin, Taylor and Ellie headed out for more candy. Joslyn stayed home with me, she was happy with the candy she had. In fact, she started into her stash after the first couple of houses. Instead of saying trick or treat she simply said "me too" and held out her candy bag. She got away with it only because she is so dang cute. Noah is doing better, he is gaining weight. He still looks so skinny to me, but he is getting so tall he can't seem to catch up to his height. He is eating so much, I swear he should weigh 10 pounds. Speaking of weight, I started going to the gym again, so think skinny thoughts for me. I need to lose a few pounds so I can fit into my clothes again! I have hope in myself, I have lost the weight three times before, I guess I can do it again. The kids are worth all the sacrifice! Here are some of the pictures from Halloween night. Sorry they are blurry, there was something on the lens of the camera.

Why my heart and hands are full

I had Noah and Joslyn laying down for their morning diaper changes and I couldn't believe how big Joslyn looked next to her little brother. It seems like she was just a little baby. Then the other girls decided they wanted to join in the fun so we took a couple of pictures. Notice that Ellie has a stolen binkie in her mouth. This is just one of the things she has started to do since Noah came, fun times. The kids have been so good and they are so excited that today is Halloween. I am excited because I have nothing to do today but play with the kids. I love those days. Things are only stressful when I am trying to accomplish something. Playing should be the only thing I worry about everyday!

Halloween Picture

This is a funny picture of Justin and I at the Halloween party I wrote about earlier. Justin looks so cute in his UPS gear doesn't he?? Thanks Dad! I especially love his hair. Forgive me for looking so nerdy, those glasses are 15 years old! My new pair broke and I need to get new ones. Anyway we had a fun time and I had fun carrying Noah around in his little pouch. The back of his head is pretty cute huh? Well I don't know why I am awake I have been up since 4:30 this morning! I need to sleep, oh wait, three of my kids are still awake.

We are still here

Well, it has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog. I am still trying to get used to having four children. It seems like every minute of the day at least two of them need something from me. It is keeping really busy. Noah is doing better and we are so grateful. Most of you know that he was having trouble gaining weight and was actually losing weight last week. The doctor was worried, so we started giving him formula after every feeding, just to make sure he was getting enough. He is doing a lot better now and has gained almost a full pound. It was pretty stressful there for a while. I feel like I am constantly nursing him or giving him a bottle. To make things even more fun, a cold keeps going around the family. We have been hit twice! Poor Joslyn has it the worst, just when she started to feel better, she got sick again. I haven't been feeling all that great either, but we are managing. I just keep reminding myself that it is all temporary! Things will get easier it just takes some adjusting. Someday we will sleep again, right??? We really do feel blessed to have our little family and we know that these little things will be over soon. The girls are doing great and adjusting pretty well. When I am not with the baby, we are reading books, coloring and enjoying the nice fall weather. Friday night they got to spend the night with grandma and grandpa. They also went to the boo and the zoo in Salt Lake. They got to see all the animals and get lots of candy. Thanks mom and dad. They have so much fun with them and their cousin Chloe, who is in the pictures with them. While the girls were at mom's Justin and I went to a Halloween party in the neighborhood. It was fun to get out of the house and see our friends all dressed up. We couldn't stay for the whole thing, but we had a lot of fun. Well I better go to bed, thanks to Vanessa there are cute pictures of the girls at the zoo and at my parents. Oh and the last picture is of Justin's pumpkin. His is the BYU one and the Utah one was made by Brett. They always have a pumpkin contest between each other. Which one do you think is the best??

Update

Okay so having four kids under the age of 5 is a little more difficult than I imagined. Actually I imagined it would be hard, I just didn't know how hard. Things are going pretty well though, my mother in law is here helping and she is keeping the other girls entertained while I take care of Noah. He is doing well. He is a great baby, sleeps well and eats well. He doesn't like his bath or diaper changes, but I don't blame him. The girls are adjusting well, I am spending all my other time with them so they know I still love them! Joslyn always wants to touch him and give him his binkie. She can't say his name yet, she just calls him baby. Taylor and Ellie are great big sisters in fact, today they were fighting over who got to give him his binkie. Well, I would write more, but the baby is crying and there are about 10 other things I should be doing. I hope to keep this up more when I get caught up. Enjoy the pictures!

And Noah makes four!

Hello,
Well, Noah Michael Sorensen came into this world this morning at 3:15 am. We are so excited that he is finally here. His birth went so great! I am still in denial that it is all over with. We got to the hospital around 12, so it was pretty fast. He is happy and healthy and aside from being really tired I am also doing great. Justin is beaming and keeps reminding me that he finally has a son. Noah has a cute little man face that looks a lot like his big sisters Taylor and Joslyn. We are so blessed. I will post a couple of pics and write more when I am not so drugged up on pain pills!

When the girls came to see him, they couldn't get enough. Joslyn kept saying baby and wanted to hold him the whole time. They were so happy to finally meet their baby brother! Aren't they cute. I can't believe we have been so blessed. Four kids!
