So, the time finally came in my life for me to send my firstborn to Kindergarten. I was having mixed emotions about it, but I was actually really excited for Taylor. She couldn't wait to start. So, on Wed, we walked her to school and to her classroom. We had already met her teacher, so she was ready! I was doing fine until she gave me a big hug and told me she loved me. The tears came and I got out of there fast,so she wouldn't see me. When I came out of the classroom, a few of my friends from the neighborhood were there too and I got a hug. Some of them were crying too, so we all felt better. I cried the whole way home (5 minute walk) and then for about an hour and I was fine. I can see her playground from our back window, so I try to sneak a peak at her at recess. She loves her teacher and class, I just can't believe that she is there!! These are some pics of her first day, Ellie starts preschool next week, so I will be sure to let you know how that goes. She is really excited too, she wears her backpack when we walk Taylor to school, so cute!! On a side note, I just wanted to let my Grandpa George know that I ran at least 10 miles last night. A friend and I are training for a half marathon, which I am pretty sure I will do. Anyway, I am pretty sore today, but glad I did it. Enjoy the pictures.
