Finally having a fenced in backyard has been a huge blessing this summer. We are out there all the time. Our gigantic tree gives us shade almost all day long. The kids want to have a picnic lunch everyday and most of the time we do! These are pics from one of our recent picnics. I love when they eat outside, then my kitchen stays clean for a little longer.
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." Girls weekend, the final post
Contrary to popular belief (okay my belief) there isn't much to do in St. George. These pics are evidence of how bored, and crazy we got. These won't surprise anyone who has hung out with the Larsen clan before, but if you haven't, you are missing out! So after eating a lot, swimming, sleeping, and eating some more we decided to hit the St. George mall. This is what happened. Oh and the picture of the floor was taken by my mom. She has excellent photography skills, if you want to see more of her portfolio, just let me know. Enjoy!
Girls weekend part 2
So, the whole reason we decided to go to St. George is because my little sister Cortney had a dream to see "The Little Mermaid." She really really loves it. Anyway we went to see it to make all of her dreams come true. I sat next to her during the performance and watched her little eyes light up the whole time. I think she cried during the last scene where Ariel and Eric are married. It was really cute. The show was entertaining and the special effects were better than I thought they would be. Here is Cortney's perspective http://accordingtocortney.blogspot.com/

Girls weekend part 1
A few weeks ago all of us Larsen girls decided to go on a all girls weekend trip to St. George. It was so much fun and I really hope it becomes a tradition. We left on Friday morning and had a good time visiting and sleeping on the way down. We stopped at Cove Fort and learned a lot of interesting church history. We also got to see a ton of antiques which is what I love the most. I wanted to steal more than a couple pieces of furniture we saw, but decided it wasn't a good idea. The only thing was that it was freezing cold! I know, in June! Bekah walked around wrapped in a blanket and some of us were smart enough to have jackets. I just shivered and kept myself warm with all of my excess body fat! It was really a good time.
